THERMOTHIN® is a silicon-fluorine copolymer viscosity reducer designed for water-based drilling fluids in deep and ultra-deep wells. It is an effective thinner and deflocculant with exceptional tolerance to high temperatures and divalent cations. Used to maintain rheological stability even in the presence of electrolyte contamination from salt, gypsum, and cement, it also aids in preventing high-temperature mud gelation. Under complex drilling conditions, it effectively inhibits shale hydration and improves filter cake quality for safe and fast operations.
