Corn Cob Filter & Granules

Corn cob filter is made of corn cob crushed and processed through strict screening. It has the advantages of uniform structure, suitable hardness, good toughness, strong water absorption and good wear resistance, and is not easy to break during use.

Corn cob filter can be made by grinding and soaking method. The operation process involves using 100 kg of corn cob, grinding it into fine crumbs (similar to beans), and soaking in a tank for 1 to 2 hours to allow for water expansion (approx. 40%). After soaking, the blanks are rinsed, drained, and steamed.

The versatile use of corncob flour and granules:

• Friction: Wiping, polishing, and drying metal, plastic, or glass products.
• Adsorption: Absorbs liquid up to four times its weight. Used for cleaning oil pollution, absorbing chemical/nuclear waste, and drying sports venues.
• Non-toxic: Serves as a carrier for vitamins and condiments in the feed industry.
• Chemical Stability: Excellent pharmaceutical and chemical carrier.
• Rubber Additive: Increases friction between tires and the ground.
• Biodegradability: Environmentally friendly with no pollution.
• Industrial Use: Extraction of heavy metals from wastewater, production of cardboard, cement bricks, and glue filler.
