[Generic Name] Fenbendazole Tablets
[Appearance] White or off-white tablet.
[Pharmacological Action] Fenbendazole is a benzimidazole class anthelmintic. It binds to nematode microtubule proteins to exert its effect. It is highly effective against various adult and larval stages of nematodes including Paragonimus westermani, Nematoda equine, and more.
[Dosage and Administration] Oral administration: Single dose per 10 kg body weight: Horses, cattle, sheep, and pigs: 0.5–0.75 tablets; poultry: 1–5 tablets; dogs and cats: 2.5–5 tablets, for 3 consecutive days.
[Withdrawal Period] Cattle and sheep: 21 days; Pigs: 3 days; Poultry: 28 days; Milk: 7 days; Eggs: 7 days.
