AVERMECTIN POUR-ON SOLUTION
For Animal Use Only / Not for Human Use

Avemectin Pour-on is a broad-spectrum antiparasitic solution containing Avermectin B1. It belongs to the macrocyclic lactone class of endectocides, designed for topical administration to effectively control both internal and external parasites in cattle and sheep.

1. Indications

Indicated for the treatment and control of the following parasites:

  • Internal Parasites: Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Cooperia, Nematodirus, and Lungworm (Dictyocaulus viviparus).
  • External Parasites: Mange mites (Sarcoptes scabiei), Sheep scab (Psoroptes ovis), Sucking lice (Linognathus, Haematopinus), and Chorioptes.

2. Dosage and Administration

Route: Topical (Pour-on along the midline of the back). Shake well before use.

  • Cattle: 1 mL per 10 kg of body weight (0.5 mg Avemectin B1 per kg).
  • Sheep: 1 mL per 10-20 kg of body weight.

3. Withdrawal Periods

  • Meat: 35 days before slaughter for human consumption.
  • Milk: Do not use in lactating dairy cattle producing milk for human consumption.

4. Precautions

  • Collie Sensitivity: Do not use in dogs (Collies, Australian Shepherds, etc.) due to potential fatal neurotoxicity.
  • Fish Toxicity: Highly toxic to aquatic life. Do not contaminate water sources.
  • Operator Safety: Wear protective clothing and avoid direct contact with skin and eyes.
